Good Stuff In,

Bad Stuff Out!

We strongly believe you get out what you put in and for that reason we only want the best in our luxury handmade soap bars. But it's not just the goat's milk which makes it the Greatest Of All Time, there are a couple of other key ingredients which go into every bar. There are also a few things which will never be found in one of our products and we think it's worth saying a little about those too.

Goat's Milk

Goat's Milk

Goat's milk is an increasingly popular choice of ingredient in luxury, natural soap bars, and for very good reason. It is naturally hypoallergenic with antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, and is packed full of elements known to have tremendous benefits for your skin. These include vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D and E, plus minerals such as zinc, copper, iron, and selenium, as well as fatty acids, amino acids, proteins, antioxidants, glycerin and enzymes. All of these things help to give goat's milk its well-earned reputation as a super ingredient in soap, which helps to smooth skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots and other blemishes.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is another powerhouse ingredient, frequently found amongst high end beauty and cosmetic products. This is down to its ability to offer first class softening and conditioning for the skin through its own naturally occurring elements:

Linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids, which balance the oils on your skin.

Vitamins A, E, and F, which, as antioxidant vitamins, promote circulation and healthy skin cell growth.

Triglycerides, which come from the fatty part of the shea nut and provide nourishment and conditioning to your skin.

Cetylesters, which make up the waxy element in shea butter but which condition the skin and lock in moisture.

This makes it clear why we would choose to make shea butter one of the crucial ingredients in all of our indulgent soap bars. Its intense healing and moisturising properties help to repair damaged skin while protecting it from external elements and promoting hydration, anti-ageing, UV protection and improved cell generation. We would suggest this incredible ingredient is simply a must have when it comes to taking care of your skin!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Like the other key ingredients, extra virgin olive oil has exceptional moisturising and nourishing properties to help hydrate the skin of both the face and the body. It has high vitamin A and E content but also possesses vitamins D and K, making it an ideal product to protect (especially in colder seasons) and nourish even the most sensitive of skin.

Olive oil is packed with powerful antioxidants and essential fatty acids, which are important in maintaining healthy skin and fighting the free radicals which lead to both ageing and other undesirable skin conditions. It has been a popular soap ingredient throughout history (at times being used for as much as 100% of the soap bar) and like the other key elements is wonderful for all skin types, further helping the products in which it is found to promote healthier, more radiant skin, and to fight the signs of ageing.
